Lock for electric scooter? (big long handcuff lock)
Ein Reddit-Post mit dem Titel "Lock for electric scooter? (big long handcuff lock)". Hi, about to buy an electric scooter, not for daily use more as a backup means of transportation, it will be parked in my apartment, inside at work and then...outside the grocery store so need to buy some kind of lock.
This kind of lock looks a bit interesting, one end on the frame loop it around a pole and then back to the frame, no name cost 30€ on amazon and up to 55€ for locks stamped with random chinese brand.
Battery operated angle grinders are pretty efficient, tried one on an old worn out abus granit x-plus u-lock for 100€ and took about 3 seconds to cut the shackle, dont expect this to last any longer so the question really is, is it reasonably good for 20-30 minute parking outside stores where people are going in and out?
